Privacy Policy: The Science Fix app
Eaglesmith Education
Updated: 11/10/2026
1. The short version
The Science Fix app does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details. There are no accounts, no adverts and no tracking. Your quiz scores and settings stay on your phone.
2. Who we are
The Science Fix app is made by Eaglesmith Education (Lucie Eaglesmith), a GCSE science tuition business based in the UK. If you have any questions about this policy, email eaglesmitheducation@gmail.com.
3. What is stored on your phone
To show your progress, the app saves these things on your device only: your Daily 10 scores and streak, your best score for each topic, which questions you have answered recently, and whether you chose Combined or Triple Science.
This information is never sent to us and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
4. Subscriptions
If you subscribe to Premium, payment is handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your card details, name or email address.
We use a service called RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. It receives an anonymous ID created by the app and the purchase details from Apple (which subscription, when it started and when it renews). It does not receive your name or contact details. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
5. What we do not do
We do not collect personal information, show adverts, use analytics or tracking tools, sell or share data, or ask for access to your contacts, camera, photos or location.
6. Young people
The Science Fix app is designed for students aged around 14 to 16 studying for their GCSEs. Because we do not collect personal information, the app can be used without sharing anything about yourself. We have designed it with the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children’s Code) in mind.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data. As we do not hold personal data about you through the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can remove your progress at any time by deleting the app. To cancel a subscription, go to your Apple ID settings on your iPhone.
If you have a concern, email us first and we will help. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app works in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this policy and the date above.
